Wall frames consist of MFC board edged on the longer sides and are between 100mm and 135mm wide by 18mm thick, and a maximum of 2600mm in length.
Any system over 2600mm wide will require two plinths fitted underneath the bottom track butted together.
End Panels consist of MFC board edged on the longer sides with dimensions 660-672mm wide and 18mm thick, with maximum length of 2600mm.
With a wall to wall installation, the wall frames should be installed to each wall and a plinth underneath the bottom track. Where an end panel is specified, the wall frame should be fitted inside the opposite wall and underneath the bottom track.
Before commencing installation, decide which option you prefer with regard to existing skirting boards. The wall frame thickness is generally the same as the projection of the skirting board therefore if you wish to avoid cutting the skirting board the liner can be positioned above the skirting to the ceiling.
If you wish to run the wall frame from floor to ceiling then you must remove the skirting board at the correct position allowing a tolerance for the wall frame supplied.
If you also have a coving at ceiling level and you have ordered your system to fit ceiling height, you must also remove the corresponding portion of the coving with clearance to allow for the wall frame to finish at ceiling level.
