The Terms and Conditions below outline the
terms of sale for any and all sales made between the customer
and Deane Interior Solutions Ltd, trading as Deane Direct.
The following conditions apply to/ are deemed to be incorporated
in all contracts for sale and supply of the company's services
and materials.
General
- The placing of an order expresses acceptance of our
terms and conditions of business.
- These terms and conditions do not affect the customer's
statutory rights.
- Shortages or complaints must be reported to the company
within 7 working days in writing. This clause does not
affect the customer's statutory rights.
- All items included within a sale are detailed upon confirmation
of order. As default a basic frame is sent with all wardrobe
sliding door kits. When providing measurements the width
of these items will be deducted. If you do not require
this framework you must inform our sales team upon ordering,
as this will affect your aperture width.
- Due to your computer resolution
settings any and all colour options shown on Deane
Direct are representations of the products sold. If
your items are in any way different from those detailed
on Deane Direct the company cannot be held responsible
for any costs incurred in replacing these items. Samples
are available on request.
Payment
- Full payment is required at time of order.
- All prices shown include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the
statutory rate current at the date of invoice.
- (a) The company reserves the right to alter prices and/or
specifications.
(b) The customer has the right to accept or decline any
changes as indicated by clause 5 (a).
- No property in/ or title to the goods shall pass from
the company to the customer unless and until the customer
has made full and complete payment to the company.
Delivery
- All goods must be unwrapped and checked
thoroughly before signing the delivery
note. If an item is damaged which has been signed for
Deane Interior Solutions Ltd cannot be held responsible
for the cost of any replacement items.
- Our delivery schedule incorporates 28 working days from
date of order, to the date received by customer. Factory
lead-time is subject to change without notice when necessary.
Deane Interior Solutions Ltd cannot be held responsible
for delays on deliveries incurred by external delivery
companies.
- Delivery entitlement is to anywhere
within mainland United Kingdom, starting from £29.95
per total order added at the checkout. If you are outside
the mainland, Deane Interior Solutions will deliver
all items to a shipping port of your choice.
- The delivery company uses a rigid 17-tonne lorry (about
the size of a double-decker bus) when making deliveries.
Any potential logistical problems (e.g. Low bridges, restricted
access) should be made known prior to order. Couriers
will deliver to ground floor only.
- Collection is available from
our production address located in Fareham, Hampshire.
Collection hours are between 10 am - 3pm, and
must be subject to prior arrangements at least 24 hours
in advance.
Made to Measure
- Deane Interior Solutions provide a made to measure service,
which covers any and all sliding doors and tracking systems.
- All other products which are
sent with the above will all be sent at maximum size
for you to trim on site.
Installation
- Deane Interior Solutions Ltd
cannot be held responsible for the ill fitting of our
products as a result of customers’ mistakes
when measuring. If there are any changes to aperture
sizes we must be informed in writing at least 2 weeks
prior to the given dispatch date.
- Deane Interior Solutions Ltd guarantee that should our
products not be to the standard, or in any way different
from that advertised, we will refund any monies paid by
the customer, but shall apply only to those item or items
in question.
- Deane Interior Solutions Ltd does not accept responsibility
for damage to any equipment in which our products are
used for the purpose other than those for which it was
designed.
Guarantee
- All sliding wardrobe doors and tracking systems manufactured
by Deane Interior Solutions Ltd are subject to a 10 Year
Guarantee.
- Any and all products detailed above which are classed
as faulty, will be covered under a Deane Interior Solutions
Guarantee.
- Any item damaged due to ill fitting or misuse in which
our products are used for any purpose other than those,
for which it was designed, will be invalid from this guarantee.
- Any products which are taken apart or changed in any
way by anyone other than a Deane Interior Solution representative
will be invalid from guarantee.
Returns
- Any item due for return can and will not be accepted
without prior arrangement.
- No items for return can be accepted at the company's
head office without prior agreement.
- On approval orders cannot and will not be accepted.

Information
We process your personal information only for specific
and limited purposes. We collect login data (e.g. e-mail
address, password and contact address) when you register
with us. This information is used to identify our customers
and to send order and dispatch confirmations. We collect
delivery and billing information (i.e. billing/delivery
addresses, phone number) at the checkout page in order
to process your order and to contact you should there
be a problem with your order. To maintain top level security,
only the last four digits of your credit card number are
kept on record once you make a purchase. This is to help
with enquiries relating to a previous order. We may use
your order information internally to help us improve our
services and product range.

Third Parties
We value your privacy and understand that you don't want
your name, personal details and preferences sold to third
parties. Deane Interior Solutions Ltd will not sell,
trade or rent any form of your information to a third party.
Cookies
Deane Interior Solutions may use technology to track the
patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can
include using a 'cookie' which would be stored on your
browser. This cookie enables us to identify you throughout
a session on our site, so that you can use features such
as the basket and are able to place orders. It will also
enable us to provide features such as personalised greetings
and storage of items in your shopping basket between visits.
