Installation - Fitting your floor plinth

The Floor Plinth is an 18mm wooden plate that directly resembles the Wall Frame detailed previously. Each floor plinth measures 100mm in depth and is sent at a maximum size of 2600mm in length.
  1. Firstly measure the width between your strike plates or between your skirting boards. This measurement will need to be accurate for the sliding doors to glide effectively.
  1. Using the floor plinth provided, carefully mark the measurements from Step 1 and cut to the appropriate size.
  1. Once cut use a piece of sand paper to clear any excess from the edge.
  1. Now your Floor Plinth is cut to size drill appropriate holes spaced evenly at around 600 mm between each. Apply raw plugs to the areas along the floor you wish to attach and offer the newly cut floor plinth to the area you wish to fix. Using the screws provided attach the floor plinth. Make sure that you check that everything is level, using packing materials where necessary.
