• Who are Deane Direct?
  Deane Interior Solutions Ltd are a family owned organization which have specialized in high quality sliding wardrobe doors and contemporary wardrobe interiors since 1979. All materials are designed and manufactured to maintain the highest levels of quality and finish. We pride ourselves on our customer service and up front approach to providing high quality products on time and on budget. Deane Direct was launched in 1999 in order to supply made-to-measure sliding wardrobe doors and contemporary wardrobe interior kits through this e-commerce site. We now produce around 100 sliding wardrobe doors per day and continually deliver throughout the UK.
• What is included in a Sliding Wardrobe Kit?
  All wardrobe sliding doors purchased include the top and bottom tracks complete with all necessary fixings and instructions. Within our Wardrobe Wizard there is an option to include additional wall frames and floor plinth. These are included free of charge and act as a sub frame for you to install your sliding wardrobe doors to your opening. If you already have a wooden frame in place, simply un tick the box located at the bottom right of the Wardrobe Wizard page. .
• What size are the doors?
  All sliding door wardrobes are hand built to your individual measurements so there is no standard sizes to any of the ranges. As all the sliding wardrobes are completely made to measure we do not stock or offer pre made sliding wardrobes. We do recommend an optimum maximum width to all sliding wardrobe doors which at present is set at 1070 mm - This enables our production team to create a quality wardrobe sliding door which can be easy to deliver and install.
• What if my floor, ceiling or walls are uneven?
  As with all properties old and new there is always a certain discrepancy in the widths and heights of each opening. For this reason Deane Direct include a tolerance in the track systems which allows for the unevenness you may notice in your floor and ceiling. We do ask that if this is the case the smaller measurement is included with the order. Each bottom wheel is individually adjustable, enabling you to adjust the sliding wardrobe doors should you wish to lower or lift the door to finish flush with a sloping wall. The sub frame included should allow you to create a perfectly square opening for your wardrobe sliding doors however if you require assistance or advice we always invite you to email us.
• What if my ceiling height exceeds your maximum door height?
  All sliding door wardrobes are available to be installed into an opening height of 2450 mm. Should your ceiling height be more than this measurement it is really not a problem as we can offer a Header Panel which can be included to be fitted into the area above the sliding wardrobe doors. This will still enable you to access and utilise the full height inside your wardrobe however finishes the face of the wardrobe sliding doors. Header Panels are available for ceiling heights up to 3100 mm, however If you think you may need advice or your ceiling is taller than 3100 mm then please email us.
• What's the difference between the Heritage, Metro, Manhattan and Rio ranges?
  
  • The Heritage range is a steel framed sliding wardrobe door and is available in a range of wood effect colours, as well as some metallic finishes. This range is only available as full-length mirrors, coloured glass or panels. This sliding wardrobe is budget friendly and the sliding wardrobe wheels are designed to be extremely quiet.
  • The Metro range is an aluminium-framed wardrobe sliding door which can be split into 3 equal sections, with a choice of wood or glass finishes to each section. The sliding wardrobe wheels are enclosed within the bottom rail and glide effortlessly across the aluminium tracking.
  • The Manhattan range is a slim finish aluminium-framed door which can be designed using your choice of mirror or glass finishes to each door. The sliding wardrobe wheels are designed to eliminate any thundering noise and have a built in anti jump feature.
  • The Rio range is an MDF framed door with its own range of 9 wood effect finishes. This range can be made as a full panel or mirror door, or as a split-section door. Each sliding wardrobe door and bottom wheel guide is designed to the highest standards and built to the quality expected from a top of the range sliding wardrobe door..
• Do you have a showroom?
  Unfortunately not, our production centre is in Fareham, Hampshire and all sliding wardrobe doors and wardrobe interior kits are manufactured at this location. Our full address is;

• Do your prices include VAT?
  All prices include Value Added Tax at the current rate.
• Do you send samples of the colours?
  We do offer colour samples of all products. Samples of the mirror, coloured glass or wood finishes can be posted on request, subject to availability. Please email to request your samples.
• How expensive is delivery?
  The delivery charge for all wardrobe sliding doors is detailed in our Delivery Fee page. We have 3 price variations based on your demographic location which start at £39.95. The fee charged will cover the items purchased within your order, which will be despatched as a total order. Please be aware that we cannot stagger deliveries.
• Do you stock Stanley Home Decor Sliding Wardrobe Doors?
  Deane Direct are one of the largest Stanley fabricators in the UK and use many components within the different wardrobe sliding doors we manufacture. With only a number of components we use originating from Stanley Home Decor we are therefore not a stockist of Stanley products as our made to measure wardrobe sliding door kits are only based on a handful of Stanley components and cannot be used in conjunction with materials purchased from any other Stanley stockist.
• Do you stock spare parts?
  We keep in stock spare parts for the doors we manufacture. Standard size Stanley doors as bought in DIY stores differ slightly from our product, so we may not stock the part you require. Please feel free to email us, providing the part number where possible.
